Basil Pesto

Pesto

Ingredients
2 cups clean, fresh basil leaves
½ cup olive oil
2 Tbsp pine nuts or chopped walnuts
2 crushed garlic cloves
salt to taste
½ to ¾ cup parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In a blender or food processor combine all ingredients except cheese and blend well.
  2. Fold in cheese. Freeze in ice cube trays or small Tupperware for pesto year-round.
