2 sticks margarine
1 cup sugar
3 ripe bananas mashed
2 cups flour sifted
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp cloves or 1tsp allspice
½ cup nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1. Preheat oven 300*. Cream margarine and sugar until well blended: light and fluffy.
2. Add eggs one at a time. Mix Well. Add mashed bananas,
3. In separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, spices and nuts.
4. slowly add flour mixture to sugar mixture. Blend only until mixed. Do not over beat.
5. Bake in loaf pan for 1 hour.
