Blackberry Pie


4 Cups Fresh Blackberries, mashed
3/4 Cup Sugar
3 Tbsp. Tapioca
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1 Pie Crust (with extra dough for lattice on top of pie)
2 Tbsp Butter, cut into small pieces
Egg White


  1. Preheat oven to 350*.
  2. Mix berries, sugar, lemon juice and tapioca in a large bowl. Pour mixture into pie crust.
  3. Top filling with small pieces of butter. Finish with second half of crust (lattice, crumbles, etc.)
  4. Brush top of crust with egg white and dust with loose sugar.
  5. Bake pie for 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Cool slightly, serve with vanilla ice cream.
