6oz wedge Brie
4 slices sourdough bread
4 Tbsp Fig Butter
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
4 slices Granny Smith Apples
- Slice brie into 1/4″ thick slices
- Spread 1 Tbsp fig butter on one side of each slice of bread and 1/2 tbsp butter on the other side.
- Place 2 slices of bread, butter-side-down on a plate. Top with as many brie slices as will fit, then apple slices. Top with remaining bread slices.
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add sandwiches and cook 1 minute on each side – until cheese is melty and sandwiches are crispy and golden. Makes 2 sandwiches.
